After BHS I attended the Jr. College, Moorhead St.,  and Bethel College, graduating with a degree in Psychology.

I worked in St. Paul with adolescent girls in various group homes. I was married in 1976 and my husband and I have had four children.

Our oldest son was killed in a bike accident as a college freshman in 1997. We now have four grandchildren with one on the way.

Since 1991 I have done medical transcription as a part-time job from home.
