I am married to Steve Dettbarn and we will celebrate our 38th Anniversary in February.

Our two daughters are both married. Beth lives in Brainerd and she has a son Tommy who is two. Amy, lives in Montana. She has a daughter Paige who is eight. Both girls are having babies in the spring...Beth the end of March and Amy the end of Aprl.

We love being grandparents so we are looking forward to two more. I am still working as a dental hygienist three days a week. I'd like to retire, but it just isn't in the cards yet.

We like to travel and spend time with family.

I did have a bit of an upset last year. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in January of 2008. I was having treatments until the end of July. If was not pleasant, but I have a very good prognosis and should be around for many years.
